ORGANIC RUSSIAN CARAVAN
Russian Caravan combines a malty Assam black tea, with robust Ceylon and mildly smoky Keemun black teas.
This tea, a blend from Davidson's, has a delicate smoky flavor. A classic staple that delivers a well-rounded black tea brew with a subtle smoky finish. It remains as a great introduction in comparison to its smoky counterparts, Keemun Congou and Lapsang Souchong Black. Out of these three, Russian Caravan ranks the least smoky.
This organic black tea is sourced from family tea gardens in the Darjeeling and Assam regions of India.
Organic black tea.
Despite its name, Russian Caravan is not actually of Russian origin. In fact, the blend originated in China during the 18th century, when trade between the two countries opened up.
